We’ve already shared a post about our kitchen and bedroom in our apartment in Berlin and now we are excited to show you our living room. What we love most about it is definitely the light! As it’s south side we have a lot of sunshine and it’s simply wonderful to watch how the light is changing on the walls during the day. On our Instagram account we always get a lot of questions about our walls: all of them are painted with Kalklitir (the color we used is called lute primo) one of our favorite paint brands! It’s so easy to apply and we really love the texture it gives to the walls. As you might know already we are big fans of Frama Cph, so a lot of the furniture you can see here, is from Frama. A true favorite is our hanging book shelf! When we got it delivered, only our favorite book selection made it into the shelf. We are quite minimalistic when it comes to objects in general, but somehow my book collection grew a lot over the years. So even if it wasn’t easy it felt quite liberating to make space for new things and only keep the ones that are very dear to me.

Living Room Danish Design Gubi

What took us almost forever was finding the right sofa! We wanted a sofa that is comfortable, but still looks elegant at the same  time. So when we’ve been visting our favorite city Copenhagen, we finally found it at Gubi. The Grand Piano Sofa is really the piece we’ve been looking for: classic yet modern, elegant but still comfortable – just the perfect mix! And as our living room is not very big, it also has a very good size with its 2,20 meters. Let us know if, you have any questions about any specific products, and we are happy to answer them in the comments. We really enjoy creating these interior post for you and are starting with a new series in our designtales category soon, stay tuned!
