Whipped Ricotta Toast & Our Favorite Kitchen Tools from Dualit
Today we want to give you another glimpse into the new studio kitchen and next to a new delicious recipe, we want to share some of our favorite kitchen tools with you guys!
*In collaboration with Dualit
We are long time Dualit lovers and basically got one of their famous toasters as soon as we renovated our first kitchen. Their kitchen products just look so timeless and beautiful and thanks to the quality these are products that are really build to last for a life time. For this recipe we used their toaster and hand mixer. Both really products we use almost daily, especially the toaster. For the recipe we used the wonderful and ripe September tomatoes. There are still so many tomatoes in my neighbors garden and even if it feels like summer is already over and autumn arrived here in Germany, with this recipe it feels like summer is still on your plate at least.
We hope you enjoy the recipe guys!

Whipped Ricotta Tomato Toast
Ingredients for 2 toasts
10-15 cherry tomatoes
Olive oil
2 slices of sourdough bread (we took gluten-free bread)
250g ricotta
1-2 sprigs of fresh rosemary
1 tsp honey (preferably a runny honey or heat a firm one a bit in a saucepan)
salt & pepper
Wash the tomatoes, halve them, and sauté them in a pan in 1 tablespoon of olive oil for 5-7 minutes, then add a little salt. Meanwhile, whip the ricotta for 1-2 minutes with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and a pinch of salt. Finely chop the rosemary. Toast the bread slices and drizzle with a little olive oil. Spread the ricotta cream on the bread slices, then top with roasted tomatoes and sprinkle with rosemary. Season with pepper and drizzle with a little runny honey. Serve immediately while lukewarm.
