First of all I want to wish you all a Happy New Year! It felt like January was passing by in a heartbeat. With two lovely trips the time was running even faster than it is anyways but I’m back with so much inspiration and can’t wait to share more with you guys on Substack soon. This year we will focus on finishing a small but very exciting renovation project that has been in the works for several years now and I absolutely can’t wait to share more about it soon and to take you with us for some lovely renovation stories.
This winter has been surprisingly snowy so far and made the grey December and January days so much brighter. The autumn and winter season at St. Oak is actually my favorite because the winter light is so beautiful. Thanks to the beautiful old oak tree in front of the window the light is so warm and welcoming and slow breakfasts and reading moments at the kitchen table of the Loft Apartment are just so calming. We recently added this beautiful Beosound Emerge speaker from Bang & Olufsen and even though it’s super slim it fills the whole room with a wonderful sound and makes the mornings even more special. We absolutely love that it’s made from high-quality materials such as precision-cut, bead-blasted aluminum, natural oak and Kvadrat textile fabric and how the design integrates so effortlessly into any surrounding.  We wish you all a wonderful weekend with good music and some sunshine!
