A Summer Gathering in the Garden
Today we have some images from a wonderful summer gathering in the garden for you and also the recipe for a delicious new summer salad!
Written by Laura Muthesius
We photographed these images for our client ABASK in the garden last month. May and June are my favorite months in terms of flowers in the garden – the roses just get more abundant and lush each year and sometimes I can’t believe that Nora has been planting them just five years ago!
The task for ABASK was to create a summer outdoor scene – what could we love more! As the elderflowers were just in bloom Nora made a delicious elderflower cocktail (of course you can also use elderflower syrup from the supermarket, as they are not in season anymore) and a fresh summer salad with arugula, fennel, walnuts and apple that we served with roasted potatoes and olives. You can find the recipe for the salad over on Substack, it’s quickly made and just so refreshing and delicious! We hope you guys enjoy these summery images – we are so sorry for the long silence here on the blog – you can find more frequent posts on Substack these days and once we complete our current renovation project (more on that soon!) we also hope to share posts a bit more frequently here with you. We hope you guys enjoy these wonderful warm summer days – what an intense summer it has been so far!
