We wish you all a wonderful start to the new year 2026! Perhaps you had a few relaxing days and can begin the new year full of energy. Today we’re sharing some impressions from one of our last events of the past year – The Gatherists. The Gatherists was founded in 2017 by our friend and talented photographer Marieke Verdenius as a meeting and contact opportunity for creative freelancers. The event takes place at different locations, and you can book a ticket online in advance. In a relaxed atmosphere, you come together for a few hours to exchange ideas about the positive and challenging aspects of creative life, network, and meet interesting people. I’ve had the wonderful experience of leaving with an uplifting and motivating feeling, having recharged with new creative energy. Of course, delicious food and drinks are always available – this time we set up a tasty buffet, and I baked two delicious cakes – a caramel cheesecake and a pumpkin pear cake. And I’m sure you’ve already noticed the beautifully set table – the gorgeous tablecloth and napkins are from the wonderful Swedish brand Lovely Linen – we’ve been fans for many, many years. Wir wünschen Euch Allen einen wunderbaren Start ins neuen Jahr 2026! Vielleicht hattet Ihr ein paar erholsame Tage und könnt das neue Jahr voller Tatendrang angehen. Heute teilen wir ein paar Impressionen von einem unserer letzten Events im letzten Jahr – The Gatherists. The Gatherists wurde 2017 von unserer Freundin und talentierten Fotografin Marieke Verdenius als Treffpunkt für kreative Selbständige ins Leben gerufen. Das Event findet an unterschiedlichen Locations statt und man kann sich online ein Ticket vorab buchen – in gemütlicher Atmosphäre kommt man für ein paar Stunden zusammen um sich über die positiven wie auch schwierigen Dinge im kreativen Alltag auszutauschen, sich zu vernetzen und interessanten Menschen zu begegnen. Ich hab die schöne Erfahrung gemacht, dass man mit einem beschwingten und motivierenden Gefühl nach Hause geht und viel neue kreative Energie getankt hat. Für das leibliche Wohl stehen natürlich immer leckere Speisen und Getränke bereit – dieses Mal haben wir ein leckeres Buffet aufgebaut und ich habe 2 sehr gefragte Kuchen gebacken – einen Karamell-Cheesecake und einen Kürbis-Birnen-Kuchen.
