The coziest Bed Linen from Lovely Linen and a gluten-free Dutch Baby
What could be better than a cozy breakfast in bed during grey and cold winter days.
*In collaboration with Lovely Linen
We teamed up with Lovely Linen to show you the coziest bedlinen – perfect for the cold winter months. Lovely Linen is a Swedish linen brand and we actually bought our very first linen napkins in a cooking tool shop in Berlin from them, so they will always have a special place in our hearts. We’ve shown you their beautiful table cloths and napkins before and now we are so excited to test their wonderful bed linen. It was no surprise that the quality and feel was simply wonderful! The bed sheet comes in a very nice thick linen, which we totally love! For the duvet covers we choose this beautiful striped linen and then added some different cushions as a contrast. The beautiful kimono that Nora is wearing is from Lovely Linen too – it’s in their new shade “lovely almond” and is very comfortable and cozy. Of course you also need a wonderful breakfast for a comfy morning in bed, so we decided to make a gluten-free dutch baby. Just recently we shared this gluten-free dutch baby recipe with you guys, but this time we wanted to have something sweet, so we made it with coconut cream, oranges, blueberries, some honey and rosemary. Super easy and so delicious! And as we are celebrating the first Sunday in advent today we want to make you a little present – you can WIN one duvet cover and pillow case from Lovely Linen in the color of your choice. All you have to do is follow Lovely Linen on Instagram and write a comment under this post. The give-away is worldwide and the winner will be drawn by lot next Sunday (06th of December 2020). Good Luck guys!

Gluten-free Dutch Baby with Oranges and in Honey Caramelized Hazelnuts
Dutch baby
- 100g gluten-free flour (e.g. rice flour or flour mixture)
- 160ml milk, room temperature
- 3 eggs, room temperature (size M / L)
- 50g butter
- 1 tbsp of sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
Topping
- 80g hazelnuts
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp honey, preferably liquid
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 125g coconut cream or coconut yogurt – similar plant based or cow products are of course also possible as alternatives
- 2 oranges
- maple syrup or liquid honey
- 1-2 sprigs rosemary
First beat the eggs briefly with the hand mixer, then beat in the milk for 1 minute. Mix the gluten-free flour, sugar and salt and stir into the liquid ingredients with a whisk – let the batter rest for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 220°C/440°F top and bottom heat and place an iron pan (without a wooden handle) in the oven. Roughly chop the hazelnuts. Melt the 2 tbsp of butter for the hazelnuts in another pan, then toss or roast the hazelnuts in the butter for 1 minute and finally stir in the honey and a pinch of sea salt, then remove the pan from the heat. After the batter is left to rest, take the pan out of the oven with an oven glove and let the 50g butter melt completely in the hot pan – swirl the pan so that the butter also covers the sides of the pan. Stir the melted butter from the pan into the batter (stir while pouring in) and pour the batter back into the pan. Then put the pan in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. In the meantime, whip the coconut cream and fillet the oranges. When the Dutch Baby is ready, take the pan out of the oven with an oven glove and let the Dutch Baby cool down briefly, otherwise the coconut cream will melt. Top the gluten-free Dutch Baby with coconut cream, orange fillets and caramelized hazelnuts. Finely chop some rosemary, sprinkle over it and serve with maple syrup or honey.

The dream of linen sheets started 6 years ago when we got married. Took the bus to IKEA as newly weds to get a double duvet and some sheets. We were late and the store was closing so my husband got sheets and I ran to get something else. We met up at the cashier and he had picked out some baby blue sheets with white stars on them, I was too tired to argue about it. We’ve had them ever since. Comfy but not pretty and now they are really worn out. Could really use some lovely linen 🖤
Maria Nov 29, 2020
