Hello everyone! Did you have a good start to the new year? We’re full of energy and looking forward to many exciting projects this year.
Last year, we completed our second vacation apartment and photoshoot location and have already welcomed several guests. As the name suggests, the Studio Apartment has a “studio” feel: rough walls, concrete floors paired with thick, woolly rugs, and minimalist furniture made of wood, which adds more warmth. To create an extra touch of natural coziness, we decided for linen curtains in a subtle yet warm tone from the brand By Mölle. Specifically for the Studio Apartment, the color “Flax” was chosen for most rooms, blending in with its subtle and calming effect. The fabric was available in two weights: 110g/m² or 220g/m². After the fabric samples arrived, it quickly became clear that the lighter linen suited the rooms beautifully. The thinner linen allows the sunlight to filter gently, adding a touch of coziness to the apartment’s industrial look. However, for those seeking beautiful blackout linen curtains, By Mölle offers the option of adding a layer of blackout fabric. We did this in the green bedroom of the Loft Apartment – the fabric is simply thicker and slightly heavier. Here’s a link to the Loft Apartment, where you can see the bedroom curtains in two photos. The linen bedding, which I’ve had and used at home for almost 10 years, is very durable, and the best thing about linen is that small wrinkles aren’t as noticeable and are part of its charm, so I hardly ever have to iron my bedding anymore. And every now and then, I buy a different colored pillowcase if I fancy a change of color but don’t want to replace the whole bedding set.
Also good to know – the curtains are custom-made and tailored to your specific hanging system. Hallo Ihr Lieben. Hattet Ihr einen guten Start ins neue Jahr? Wir sind voller Tatendrang und freuen uns auf viele spannende Projekte dieses Jahr.
Letztes Jahr haben wir das unser zweites Ferienapartment und Fotoshooting-Location fertiggestellt und konnten schone einige Gäste willkommen heißen. Das Studio Apartment hat wie der Name schon vermuten lässt einen „Studio“ Charakter, Roughe Wände, Betonboden gepaart mit dicken, wolligen Teppichen und minimalistische Möbel aus viel Holz, die wiederum Wärme hineinbringen. Um noch etwas Extra natürliche Gemütlichkeit zu erzeugen, haben wir uns für Vorhänge aus Leinen entschieden, in einem zurückhaltenden, aber warmen Ton – von der Marke By Mölle. Konkret für das Studio Apartment viel die Wahl in den meisten Räumen auf die Farbe „Flax“, die sich unaufgeregt und beruhigend einfügt. Zur Auswahl in der Stoffqualität standen 110gr/m² oder 220gr/m² – nachdem die Stoffproben ankamen, war ziemlich schnell klar, dass das leichtere Leinen wunderbar in die Räume passt, durch das dünnere Leinen kann die Sonne sanft scheinen und gibt dem industriellen Look des Apartments mehr Gemütlichkeit. Wer aber auch auf der Suche nach schönen Leinenvorhängen ist, die blickdicht sind, kann sich die Vorhänge bei By Mölle einfach mit einer Lage Verdunklungsstoff blickdicht produzieren lassen. Im grünen Schlafzimmer im Loft Apartment haben wir das gemacht, man sieht es gar nicht, der Stoff hat einfach mehr Dicke und ist etwas schwerer – hier geht’s zum Loft Apartment, dort sind auf 2 Fotos die Vorhänge vom Schlafzimmer zu sehen – ausserdem sind im Loft auch die Vorhänge und Bettwäsche von By Mölle gefertigt worden. Die Leinen-Bettwäsche, die ich auch privat seit fast 10 Jahren habe und nutze, ist sehr langlebig und das Beste an Leinen ist, dass kleine Falten nicht so auffallen und Teil des Charmes sind, sodass ich meine Bettwäsche fast nicht mehr bügeln muss. Und ab und und zu kaufe ich mal eine andere Kissenfarbe nach, wenn ich wieder Lust auf einen anderen Ton habe, aber nicht das ganze Bettset austauschen möchte.
