In this series we want to share our passion for design and interior with you. Pictures and stories from our own homes, as well as interviews and photo stories about creatives and friends is what you can expect here.
We are very excited to share our first story for a series of home tours with you guys today! So far we have given you a little insight of our own homes here but as we love to meet other creatives and travel a lot for work, soon we knew that we would love to show you more than our own home in our designtales catergory. We are starting today with a tour of Signe Birkving Bertelsen's home, a very inspiring woman who lives in the most beautiful apartment in Copenhagen with her family. Signe is co-founder of the stationary brand Notem Studio and we already bought some of her beautiful notebooks, before we even knew each other. Just have a look yourself and find out all about Signe in our interview. We hope you guys enjoy this new series!
In january we had some lovely visitors from Sweden in our studio and we've been shooting a little video for AEG together. We've been asked to share thoughts about our view and about daylight and what makes it so inspiring.
A few weeks ago, we've done a little make-over with our kitchen in Berlin. You guys already know our kitchen in the countryside and our studio kitchen (will post an update tour soon!), but we've never shown you our kitchen in our Berlin flat before. When we moved into the apartment 3 years ago, we immediately fell in love with it. But I guess as everyone knows, no flat is perfect.
Today we want to introduce you to a new category on the blog, named after our second and new Instagram account: Designtales. We want to share more about our passion for design and interior with you guys, so here is the first Designtales post today, the long promised studio tour!
Some of you may have already noticed, that we have renovated a little flat in the countryside this summer. We always have spent a lot of time in the surroundings of Berlin and even lived there half of the time. Even if we are both born in Berlin there is nothing more essential and inspiring than nature to us. When we started working together we even had our studio in the countryside for a long time. Because of some family circumstances we had to look for a new place this summer and after a brief frustration, suddenly everything happened very quickly.
